  • Diphacinone 0.05g/kg 

PRODUCT FEATURES

  • A Ready to Use product. 18g of Ferafeed 213 non-toxic prefeed paste with the first generation anti-coagulant Diphacinone
  • Biodegradable bait stations made from potato starch are glued to a strip of card and dipped in wax to provide weather and handling protection
  • After rodents have tampered with the Striker, it starts to degrade and completely breaks down over a matter of weeks.
  • Ready to be stapled directly onto a tree or suitable pole
  • Ideal for rodent control operations -- big or small
  • Designed for use in one-off or short-term pest control situations where permanent bait stations are not required
  • Diphacinone has a short half-life and presents a low risk of secondary poisoning - making it ideal for environmentally conscious users.
  • Used by the Department of Conservation and other leading conservationists and pest controllers
  • Antidote readily available
  • No Controlled Substance Licence (CSL) required

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT

  • Has a short half-life in tissue and blood  -- 3 days (compared to the most commonly used 2nd generation anti-coagulant, Brodifacoum which has a half life of 130-300 days)
  • Minimal risk of secondary poisoning
  • Minimal risk to native birds
