ACTIVE INGREDIENT
- Diphacinone 0.05g/kg
PRODUCT FEATURES
- Hard block bait, each weighing 28 grams
- Contains Diphacinone which has a short half-life and presents a low risk of secondary poisoning - making it ideal for environmentally conscious users
- To prevent bait caching a hole through the centre of each block allows bait to be secured onto internal bait station spikes, wired, nailed or tied into place
- Used by the Department of Conservation and leading pest controllers and conservationists
- Suitable for indoor and outdoor use in bait stations
- Antidote readily available
- No Controlled Substance Licence (CSL) required
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
- Has a short half-life in tissue and blood -- 3 days (compared to the most commonly used 2nd generation anti-coagulant, Brodifacoum which has a half life of 130-300 days)
- Minimal risk of secondary poisoning
- Minimal risk to native birds
