Ferafeed Peanut Classic Paste was designed specifically to assist with possum control operations. Possums love this peanut butter based lure scented with cinnamon and lemon.
The Ferafeed Peanut Classic non-toxic paste is a firmer mix than the Ferafeed 213, making it a hardier lure for trapping.
It is perfect to use as a prefeed as well. Research shows prefeeding is the key to successful control operations. That’s because target animals become familiar with the flavour and delivery method of a non-toxic prefeed before toxic baits are delivered in the same way.

For use as a prefeed in bait stations, such as the run through, Philproof or Enviromate bait station:
Place the required amount of paste in the bait station and site the bait station near areas of animal signs and close to key food or play trees and possible nesting sites. Check the bait station regularly and replace as required.
Prefeeding should be carried out before replacing with toxin, once there is evidence that your target animal is interacting with the prefeed.
For use as a Lure:
Apply Peanut Classic Paste directly on to the bait holder or bite block in a trap and in blobs leading to the trap, bait station or monitoring card or tunnel.
Replace as needed, when the paste has been removed by pest animals.
Prefeeding significantly increases the success of pest‑control operations because target animals become familiar with the flavour of the bait and the delivery method and will return repeatedly to the same location.
Peanut Classic is formulated to attract possums.
