Decoy Eggs are plastic dummy eggs used as visual lures in DOC 150/200 traps to attract rats, stoats, weasels, and ferrets.

How do Decoy Eggs work?

Their realistic egg colour, solid shape, and lightweight design mimic genuine eggs, encouraging mustelids and rodents to investigate—especially when paired with scent lures like Erayz.

Which species do they attract?

Decoy Eggs are effective for rats, stoats, weasels and ferrets.

What are the key features?

  • Looks real – egg‑coloured and visually convincing
  • Lightweight – easy to place and position
  • Long‑lasting – durable plastic for repeated field use

Can I use Decoy Eggs with other lures?

Yes. Pairing them with scent lures such as Lure-It ready to use lure significantly increases trap investigation and catch rates.
