1. Prepare the Trap

• Inspect the trap to ensure the mechanism is intact.
• Choose a high‑attractant lure, such as the Resoakable Felt lure

2. Bait the Trap

• Place the bait into the bait holder at the front of the trap.

3. Set the Trap

• Hold the trap firmly on a flat surface.
• Pull the metal bar backwards until it locks into position.
• The trap is now armed.
• Handle with care—this is a sensitive kill trap.

4. Positioning

For best results, place the trap inside the Ranger Mouse Bait Station:

• Insert one or two mouse traps into the designated holders.
• Add your chosen lure into the bait holder.
• Close and lock the bait station lid.

Using two traps inside the Ranger station increases catch rates and provides coverage for multiple entry angles.

5. Placement Locations

Position the bait station (with traps installed) along walls, mouse run‑lines, behind appliances, inside sheds or storage units or any area with known mouse activity. Mice naturally travel along edges, making these locations ideal.

6. Releasing the Catch

• Lift the trap and squeeze the release mechanism.
• The mouse is ejected without needing to touch it, ensuring a cleaner and safer process.

7. Resetting

• Remove old bait if necessary.
• Re‑bait the trap.
• Pull the metal bar back to re‑arm.
• Continue trapping until activity stops.

Safety Guidelines

• Keep fingers clear of the kill zone at all times.
• Use inside a bait station to reduce risks to pets, children, and non‑target wildlife.
• Check traps daily to maintain hygiene and humane operation.
• Always wear gloves when handling traps and lures.
